There is a ramp up to the library from the Duke St entrance, but there is a heavy door that must be opened manually, making the Carlisle St entrance preferable.
Balaclava railway station is 500m away and fully accessible. There is also a free community that stops at St Kilda Library. Information can be found on the "Community bus - City of Port Phillip" webpage. The route 16 runs some low-floor trams, however stop located outside the library is not an accessible stop.
There is one accessible parking space out the front of the library on Carlisle St.
Accessible toilet located inside the library. The accessible toilet is kept locked for safety but can be opened with an MLAK or patrons can ask staff at the desk to open for them.
