Although there is not an accessible toilet in this restaurant, South Wharf DFO is only five minutes walk away. That is where you will be parking as well. The staff are extremely friendly, courteous and understanding of wheelchair access needs. You don’t necessarily need to book but if you do, mention that use a wheelchair and they will make sure they provide a suitable table. It does not get very busy but is currently only open for dinner time Monday to Friday and all day from 11 am on Saturday and Sunday. The food is really delicious and the pizza to die for. It’s well worth you finding your way past all the so-called ‘popular’ restaurants to this little casual place right by the water. Please note that my wheelchair has a drop-down joystick which means I only need a table clearance of about 68 cm and this suits these tables quite well with clearance to spare. There is plenty of wheelchair room space under the table as the table legs do not get in the way.
