Important Notes! It is technically NOT a 0 entrance venue - but there is alternative access that is close to the cafe. The Victoria Park Grandstand has a huge amount of steps at the FRONT entrance. However, if you call the cafe and let them know you are coming and that you'll need assistance, there is an entrance through a rear door that has a 'service lift'. It is a wide glass-door lift-platform but you will need staff to operate it. I found the staff to be helpful and a common sense approach was applied. They were really busy but had no hesitation in popping around to operate the lift (it's a staff key operation). There isn't any access to the grandstand as it has steps up and out of the cafe but the cafe itself is good to move around in. There is one disabled park right down the opposite end of the car park (clearly marked) and two access parks much closer to the precinct - need a touch up.
